Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk, scalded
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Beat eggs until yolks and whites are blended. Add sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Pour into pastry lined pan. Bake in a hot 425 degree oven until an inserted knife comes out clean.
