Ingredients

  • 1 cup leftover Cooked Near East’s Original Long Grain & Wild Rice
  • 2 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup leftover game meats, small cube
  • 1/4 cup leftover vegetables, chopped - or two green onions, minced
  • 1 room temperature egg, lightly beaten

Preparation

Heat wok or heavy frying pan over high heat and fry bacon. When almost done, add rice and toss to combine. Toss in veggies and then push rice mixture to one side of the pan, frying the egg in the other. When egg is about half way done, stir into rice and cook until everything is heated though. Rice can be left in pan extra long if you want it a little ‘crusty.’

* If using leftover meats, start with 1-2 tsp of canola oil, stirring the leftover meats in with the veggies.
