Ingredients

  • ¾ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh ginger
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • 2 (3/4 pound) pork tenderloins, silver skin removed
  • 1 15" alder grilling plank, soaked

Preparation

In a zip top plastic bag, combine first 6 ingredients, add pork, and marinate in refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Remove tenderloins and discard marinade.

Heat gas or charcoal grill to 350-400 degrees, place soaked plank on grill grates, close lid, and allow to heat for 3 minutes. Open lid, flip plank, and continue to heat for 3 more minutes until a light smoke develops. Place tenderloins directly onto plank and close lid. Depending on grill temperature, indirect heat may be necessary. Grill for approx. 15-20 minutes or until meat thermometer reaches 145 degrees.

We recommend serving pork just slightly pink (medium).

Great served with peach or mango salsa
