Almond Broccolini

  • 1/3 cup sliced Almonds
  • 2 bunches Broccolini
  • 5 TBS Olive oil, butter or a combination
  • 1/4 cup Orange juice
  • 1 tsp Orange zest
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt


Toast almonds in frying pan over low heat – or in a 350° oven until golden brown. Set aside.

Steam broccolini over water (or boil in salted water) until just tender.

Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat; 3-4 minutes until medium brown. Add juice and cook 10 seconds. Remove from heat; stir in peel and salt. Add broccolini and toss; transfer to platter and sprinkle with almonds.
