Gorgonzola Port Sauce

  • 1 cup prepared instant demi-glace or brown sauce
  • 2 oz Port Wine
  • 1/4 cup walnut halves (reserve a few for garnish)
  • Scant 1/4 cup crumbled gorgonzola


Make sauce according to directions on package. Add port wine and simmer for 3 minutes. Add walnut halves, reserving a few for garnish. Add walnuts and simmer until heated through. Garnish plates with reserved walnuts. Serve immediately with beef steak or roast beef.
