Maple Pecan Pie

  • 1 unbaked pie shell, well-chilled
  • 4 eggs, well beaten
  • 3/4-cup sugar
  • 1/2-cup maple syrup
  • 1/2-cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2-cup dark corn syrup
  • 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 cups pecans, broken
  • 1/3-cup melted butter


Mix sugar, syrups, vanilla and salt with beaten eggs until blended.
Stir in pecans and melted butter.
Brush inside (bottom and side) of unbaked pie shell with slightly beaten egg white.
Pour in filling. 
Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes, or until center is set. 
Remove from oven and brush hot pie with maple syrup. 
Cool and store in refrigerator.
