Meat Loaf Au Gratin

  • 3 slices soft white bread
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 TBS mustard
  • 1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 can tomato sauce

Prep Time: 15min | Cook Time: 75min

1. Mix ground beef with 3/4 cup cheese, egg, bread crumbs, onion and seasonings. 
2. Shape into a meatloaf roast in a 325 degree oven for 45-55 minutes. 
3. Remove from oven and pour off drippings. 
4. Pour tomato sauce over loaf, sprinkle top with remaining cheese and cook an additional 10-20 minutes.
