Preparation
Prep Time: 30min | Cook Time: 180min

Instructions:

Prep the ribs:
Pat ribs dry with paper towels. Lightly coat with Tonys Moonshine BBQ Sauce as a binder.

Season:
Generously apply dry rub on all sides. Let them sit at room temperature for 30–45 minutes while you fire up your smoker.

Set up smoker:
Preheat smoker to 250°F. Use fruit woods like: apple, cherry, or hickory for a balanced smoke flavor.

Smoke:
Place ribs directly on the smoker grates.
Smoke for 2 hours, spritzing lightly every 45 minutes with the apple juice mixture to keep them moist.

Wrap (Optional Step for Extra Tenderness):
After 2 hours, you can wrap the ribs in foil with a small splash of apple juice to braise and tenderize. Smoke wrapped for another 1–1.5 hours.

Glaze (Optional):
Unwrap ribs and brush lightly with Tonys Jalapeno BBQ Sauce. Smoke uncovered for another 20–30 minutes to set the sauce.

Rest and Serve:
Let ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with extra BBQ sauce if desired.
