Flank Steak with Tomato Basil Salad

Ingredients

  • 0.5 -1.5 lbs Flank steak
  • 6-10 Roma Tomatoes
  • 1 Red onion
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • Tony's Butcher Salt
  • Cracked Pepper to Taste
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic (or more to taste)
  • Handful of fresh basil leaves, plus more right before serving
  • Drizzle of olive oil

Preparation
Prep Time: 15min | Cook Time: 45min

  1. Cut the Roma Tomatoes lengthwise into half then cut each half into fourths.
  2. Thinly slice the red onion, chop the cucumbers, and finely dice the garlic cloves.
  3. Roll and chop the basil leaves.
  4. Mix the Roma tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, salt, pepper, garlic, basil leaves and olive oil in a bowl.
  5. Let it set in room temperature for about 30-45 minutes. Once the flavors marinate together, add your flank steak and more basil leaves to taste.
  6. Enjoy!

I absolutely love the Flank Steak salad from Tony's! My husband and I get it from the deli for a quick meal, but it's also fun to make at home. Just like it says, this is a great recipe for using our leftovers and an even better recipe for the Summer.
