We can’t think of a better way to honor the memory and service of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country than to support local families grieving a military loss.
Tony’s has proudly offered to feed 8 families grieving a military loss for 3 months each with customized meat bundles (30 LBs of meat, on average). We’re excited for our new partnership with the Colorado chapter of TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors). We are more than happy to offer our support with these 24 meat bundles to support local families with 720 LBs of high-quality protein.
During the TAPS Colorado Classic event on 6/15/19, the Tony’s Meats & Market donation was generously bid on by over 500 people! The top 4 bidders generously helped Tony’s Meats & Market to support these 8 local families and ended up donating $10,400 to TAPS in a true display of character and kindness for their neighbors in need. The proceeds from this auction item allow TAPS to provide support & services for families grieving a military loss in our local community.
Founded in 1994, TAPS is a national nonprofit organization that offers compassionate care and critical resources to all those grieving a military loss. All services are free of charge to survivors.
