Chinese Broccolini Saute

  • 2 TBS oyster sauce
  • 2 TBS chicken broth
  • 1 TBS chinese rice wine or dry sherry
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2-3 bunches broccolini
  • Salt and pepper to taste


To make sauce, combine oyster sauce, chicken broth, sherry, sugar and sesame oil in a saute pan. Bring to a boil, cook, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens.

Meanwhile, steam broccolini until crisp tender, about 3-4 minutes. Transfer to a sauce and simmer to marry. Taste and adjust with salt and pepper. serve immediately.
