We use it on several of our made-to-order deli sandwiches, or you can grab a loaf to take home. It’s bread you can feel good about—delicious, wholesome, and made with care from start to finish.
Grown in the Heart of Montana
The story behind Wheat Montana bread starts in the fields. The Folkvord family has been rooted in Montana agriculture for three generations. Over time, they’ve turned their family farm into one of the most respected agricultural operations in the Northern Great Plains.
Their farm covers 12,000 acres near Three Forks, Montana, nestled by the headwaters of the Missouri River and surrounded by the Elkhorn Mountains. At 5,000 feet above sea level, it’s the highest elevation grain farm in North America.
The Perfect Conditions for Quality
What makes Wheat Montana’s grains so special? The region’s low rainfall, high altitude, and cool nights create optimal conditions for growing some of the world’s finest wheat.
This results in bread with exceptional flavor and structure—perfect for sandwiches that hold up to thick cuts of meat, cheese, and veggies without falling apart.
From Farm to Bakery
Still family-owned and operated, Wheat Montana employs over 100 team members with extensive expertise in grain processing and baking. Their operation includes grain cleaning, flour milling, and a full-scale bakery that supplies products across a five-state region.
