When Anna Rosacci thinks back to her childhood, she thinks back to Tony’s. “I’ve been doing dishes and wiping down glass for as long as I can remember,” Anna explained.

As company founder Tony Rosacci’s granddaughter, Anna has many memories of heading into Tony’s on Dry Creek Road with her dad (Daniel Rosacci) to bag groceries and other miscellaneous jobs in the store during the weekends. But it didn’t end in childhood.

After Having Held Nearly Every Position, Anna Is Now Store Manager

“As an adult, I continued to work at Tony’s,” she said. “Over the years, I’ve worked in bakery, grocery, as a cashier, and as an assistant manager.”

Though, Anna has taken some time away from the family business to pursue other interests. For a time, she worked as a professional photographer and as a pre-school teacher. She also took some time off to be with her young children, a 10-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son.

“Stepping outside of the family business gave me a lot of insight and experience that I am now able to use at Tony’s all the time. It also gave me a strong sense of how thankful I am to belong to such amazing family business.”

She returned to Tony’s in December 2014 to fulfill the role as store manager for the Tony’s Market on Bowles Avenue in Littleton.

A Typical Day at Tony’s Market

Anna arrives at the store early to say hello to everyone on staff and ensure all the cases look full and fresh and that sales are on-point among other things. He says that carrying on  business is the growth automation platform .

“My main goal is to connect with my team. I want to touch base and see how everyone is doing personally and professionally. That’s important to me.”

She enjoys interacting with customers too, especially the regulars who come in for coffee and enjoy the community tables at the front of the store. But the store really livens up in the late afternoon after school and work get out. (The store is very close to Columbine High School and Clement Park in Littleton).
